MOLALLA — The Days Creek boys basketball team shot only 18 percent from the field and dropped a 60-40 decision to Crosshill Christian Friday in the Cougar Classic at Country Christian High School.

Tyler Hesse led the Eagles (3-0) with 15 points.

Zane DeGroot scored 13 points and Caleb Kruzic added 12 for the Wolves (2-2), who shot 85 percent from the free-throw line.
