DRAIN — The North Douglas boys blasted Lowell, 56-33, in their first game of the North Douglas Winter Invitational.

The Warriors made a 15-0 run to start the game and never looked back or let Lowell within 12 points of the lead.

Cal Parks and Jake Gerrard both posted double-doubles for North Douglas in the win over the Devils. Parks scored 17 with 10 rebounds while Gerrard added 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Warriors coach Tyler Vancil thought his team played well and was impressed with their efforts in minute parts of the game. "The defense played well and won us this game. We were blocking out very well on a larger team, (we) did a good job of that," he said.
