DAYS CREEK — The Milo Adventist boys soccer team handed Sutherlin a 5-0 nonleague loss on Tuesday, improving to 3-1 on the season.

"We played a good first 17 minutes, then they scored and dropped our heads," said Sutherlin coach Rick Murphy. "Milo has some fast kids and got some easy one-on-one situations. We played much better in the second half."

Murphy said midfielders Aldo Alcantar and Collin Bodine did a good job of getting some balls to the forwards and to the corners, giving Sutherlin some scoring opportunities.

The Bulldogs (0-2-1, 0-0-1 Special District 4) will host Brookings on Friday in a league contest.
