MEDFORD — Cascade Christian took a 44-point lead at halftime and breezed to a 52-0 win over Douglas on Friday night in a Special District 2 South football game at U.S. Cellular Community Park.

The Challengers (6-1, 3-0 District 2 South) compiled 269 yards total offense and held the Trojans (0-7, 0-3) to minus-1 yard.

Luke Smith carried the ball six times for 82 yards and one touchdown for C.C. Kiegen Schaan passed for 86 yards and two TDs, and rushed for 38 yards and two scores. Ian Fralich caught two passes for 47 yards and two TDs.

Trent Avery caught two balls for 40 yards for Douglas. The Trojans had 60 yards passing and minus-61 rushing.

Douglas travels to Murphy next Friday to meet Hidden Valley.
