MYRTLE POINT — The Days Creek football team got back on the winning track Friday night, handing Myrtle Point a 62-12 loss in a Special District 2 West game.

The Wolves (4-3, 2-2 District 2 West) led 44-6 at halftime.

A scoring summary wasn't available at press time. Days Creek coach David Hunt said outside linebacker Seth Leodoro led the defense with 17 tackles.

"We definitely played a lot better tonight," said Hunt. "Our defense was really solid, our tackling was much better."

The Bobcats dropped to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in league.

Days Creek ends the regular season at home next Friday against Glendale.
