CROW — South Wasco County defeated Camas Valley, 41-13, in a girls basketball game at the Cougar Classic on Saturday.

Abby Birnan scored 17 points for South Wasco County (4-1), 15 points coming on 3-pointers.

Camas Valley (2-3) was plagued by cold shooting, completing 5 of 43 from the field and 3-for-14 from the free throw line.

Joy DeRoss was the leading scorer with six points, going 3-for-12 from the field and missing all 10 of her free throw attempts.

The Hornets host Rogue River on Tuesday.
