MOLALLA — Sara Phillips posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds and Country Christian (2-1) picked up a 53-37 victory over the Elkton girls Friday in the Cougar Classic at Country Christian High School.

Aspyn Luzier had 12 points, and Alexis Halstead added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Elks (1-4), who shot 25 percent from the field.
