MOLALLA — The Days Creek girls basketball team improved to 3-1 on the season with a 70-41 win over Alsea in the Cougar Classic at Country Christian High School.

Kyla Crume had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolves. Days Creek had 42 total rebounds. Moriah Michaels had 18 points and six steals.

Abby Lowther led Alsea (0-1) with 24 points.

Days Creek plays Country Christian at 2 p.m. Saturday.
