GLIDE — The Glide Wildcats fell 44-42 to Creswell in Friday's Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball game that came down to the final seconds.

"We had our chances at the foul line, but it was a back-and-forth until the very end," Glide coach Brannon Smith said. "But it gives us a little confidence, because it shows us we can compete with league teams."

Creswell is undefeated in league play and 12-5 overall. Karley Bellew led the Bulldogs with 13 points. 

Whitney Stone had 15 points for Glide (9-7, 1-2) and was 8-of-9 from the free throw line.
