The McKay Royal Scots handed the Roseburg girls basketball team a 52-44 loss Friday night in a nonconference game.

Rylee Russell led Roseburg (2-10) with 13 points in the OSAA foundation endowment game at Robertson Memorial Gym.

Coach Dane Tornell reacted with relative positivity to the loss, saying "Although we didn't get a win, eight of our 10 players scored and we had a solid game."

Tornell did not have any other stats available.

Roseburg will visit South Eugene next Friday in a nonconference contest.
