Performance: Rickman finished second in the 50 free at the Southwest Conference district swim meet in 25.02, meeting the state qualifying auto time right on the dot. She also received a wildcard entry to the OSAA Swimming Championships in the 100 free with a second place finish at districts in 55.30.

Quotable: About swimming for Roseburg High School, “The team aspect is incredible — cheering, hyping people up, it’s really fun.” About reaching her personal goals, “Making the state auto-time in the 50 free was gratifying. The time is really fast and I got it right on the dot, I cried I was so happy.”
