GLIDE — When setter Piper Kaul went down with a sprained ankle in the first set Thursday, Glide had to figure out another way to run its offense.

So the Wildcats shifted middle blocker Sierra Mauro to setter and promptly finished off a 25-14, 25-4, 25-18 sweep of the Harrisburg Eagles in the Mountain Valley Conference match.

"We had to figure it out kind of on the fly, but fortunately we have a lot of depth on this team," GHS coach Misti-Kae Bucich said.

Mauro finished with 12 kills, 20 assists and three aces, while Whitney Stone had eight kills for the Wildcats (9-0, 2-0 MVC).

Glide will play in the McKenzie Tournament on Saturday in Blue River.
