ROGUE RIVER — Glide opened Southern Cascade League volleyball play on the road Tuesday with a sweep of Rogue River.

Set scores were 25-13, 25-13, 25-12.

Johanna Pope had 14 kills, seven digs and six aces for the Wildcats (4-2, 1-0 SCL). Sophomore Ruby Livingston chipped in 11 digs and four kills, Alyssa Malek made 12 assists and Regan Deardorff contributed nine digs and two aces.

"The girls played really well," said Glide assistant coach Jordyn Short. "A good effort for our first league match."

The Wildcats will host Butte Falls on Thursday in a league contest.
