BUTTE FALLS — Despite missing two of its key players Glide's volleyball team managed to get a four set victory over Butte Falls in Saturday's 2A Southern Cascade League match.

The Wildcats (15-5, 10-1 SCL) won 25-9, 25-14, 21-25, 25-10 without starters Johanna Pope and Jordan Williams. Pope suffered an injury earlier this season and Williams had a softball conflict.

"We had a lot of freshmen and sophomores play," Glide coach Stephanie Furlong said. "It was really different."

Regan Deardorff had 13 aces and six digs against the Loggers (2-10, 2-8). Julia Spens contributed four aces and four kills, Mashayla Belloir had three aces and six assists and Ruby Livingston added three kills and eight digs.

Glide will host Bonanza on Wednesday for its final regular season match.
