TURNER — A busy week of volleyball caught up with North Douglas on Saturday as it lost to Crosshill Christian in a nonleague match.

Set scores were 14-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-23.

Abby Whipple finished with 26 assists, 19 digs, eight aces and six kills for the Warriors (14-3 overall). Arianna Helgren contributed 14 kills, 12 digs and 11 assists, and Hope Morgan chipped in 18 digs and four kills.

N.D. coach Anne Campbell said her team made 30 hitting errors and felt fatigue likely played a role.

"The girls gave good effort, but we did ourselves in with errors," she said.

The Warriors resume Skyline League play Tuesday at home against Days Creek.
