HARRISBURG — The Oakland volleyball team dropped two nonleague matches on Saturday, losing to Harrisburg and Scio at Harrisburg High School.

The Oakers (1-5) fell to Harrisburg 25-12, 25-6, 25-13 and lost to Scio 25-9, 21-25, 25-8, 25-15.

Taylor Yard had five kills against the Eagles. Aubry Brownson contributed four assists and Hannah Cagle made nine digs.

Yard finished with nine kills versus the Loggers. Savannah Reed added four assists and two blocks, Paige Smith had seven kills and Brownson chipped in six assists.

Oakland will host Jefferson on Tuesday in a Central Valley Conference match at the Nut House.
