DIXONVILLE — Umpqua Valley Christian swept Glendale at home Thursday night in a Skyline League volleyball match.

UVC (4-1, 2-1 Skyline North) won all three sets, taking the match 25-12, 25-19, 25-10.

Layla Pappas had 26 assists and Eden Crouse had 14 kills in the win for the Monarchs. Freshman Addison Weckerle had nine kills as Liz Jarvis and Kyndel Short each had six digs. Kenzie Short contributed five aces to the winning effort.

UVC and Glendale (2-5, 0-4 South) play again at 9 a.m. Saturday in the opener of the Glendale Tournament.
