Roseburg, Glide, Reedsport won their respective pools on the first day of the Oregon Classic at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds and Expo Center in Redmond on Friday.

Top-ranked Roseburg defeated Sandy 75-6, Bend 70-9, and Oregon City 59-9 in Pool 1 of the Class 6A tournament.

Glide won the 2A/1A Pool 2 by defeating Neah-Kah-Nie 60-12, Colton 72-0, Myrtle Point 51-13 and Heppner/Ione 51-27.

Reedsport won Pool 3 in 2A/1A. The Brave defeated Grant Union 47-21, Kennedy 72-6, Crane 46-21 and Lakeview 45-36.

In Pool 4 of 3A, Douglas finished fourth. The Trojans fell 55-22 to Burns, were defeated 49-30 by Harrisburg and lost 58-24 to Rainier. South Umpqua finished fourth in its 3A pool, falling to Scio 57-18, Riverside 46-36, and Warrenton 48-24 in Pool 3.
