Roseburg’s girls cross country team had the fifth highest GPA in Class 6A and were selected to Oregon School Activities Association’s Academic All-State Team.

The top 10 teams with a 3.0 or above grade point average are selected.

Glide’s football team finished eighth in 2A with a 3.05 GPA, followed by Oakland in ninth place with a 3.01.

Oakland’s volleyball team was sixth with a 3.66 GPA.

Other Douglas County volleyball teams with a GPA above 3.0 were Roseburg (3.42), South Umpqua (3.64), Sutherlin (3.31), Glide (3.58), Reedsport (3.04), and North Douglas (3.23).

In boys soccer, Roseburg had a 3.28 GPA and Glide a 3.4. Girls soccer teams with a qualifying GPA were: Roseburg (3.42), South Umpqua (3.53), Glide (3.22) and Sutherlin (3.16).

Roseburg (3.59) and South Umpqua (3.16) had qualifying GPAs in boys soccer and in girls cross country Sutherlin (3.71), Oakland (3.4) and South Umpqua (3.22) had average grades above a 3.0.
