DOUGLAS COUNTY The Friends of the Umpqua Hiking club is planning a hike Saturday on the Dread and Terror segment of the North Umpqua Trail. Organizers say there isn't too much dread and terror about this hike, as it is a moderate, six-mile trek with the option of continuing for many more miles on some of the most scenic sections of the North Umpqua River.
