Umpqua Actors Community Theatre will present “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder,” Feb. 2-19.
In the storyline, a man learns about his mother’s death and finds out he is a distant heir to a family fortune. The man sets out to jump the line of succession by eliminating the eight unsuspecting relatives who stand in his way, as he tries to become the ninth Earl of Highhurst. There is much more to the story as well, which involves love and not just murder.
“A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” will be on stage Thursday through Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. The play is recommended for audiences age 13 and older. Tickets are $15. They can be purchased at uact.theatre.com or by calling 541-673-2125.
