Educators can now register for the 2019 STEAM Summer Institute, a series of professional development workshops, online.

The sessions, which will take place Aug. 12-15, will be presented by the Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub and Douglas County Partners for Student Success for teachers who want to integrate STEAM thinking into their classrooms.

STEAM Summer Institute will be held at Wayne Crooch Hall at Umpqua Community College.

Participants can receive a $75 stipend for each half-day they attend, up to $300.
