Sutherlin Downtown Development Inc. will be holding a fundraiser all day May 22 at Dakota Street Pizza, 105 Dakota St., Sutherlin.

Fifty percent of lunch or dinner purchases will go to SDDI with appropriate paperwork for the event. This paperwork can be picked up at Sutherlin City Hall or the Sutherlin Information Center. Dakota Pizza does not have the paperwork.

Title is very misleading. It is a fund raiser to be held at Dakota Pizza not for Dakota Pizza.

Mogie

The fund raiser is all day? You mean all day during their business hours which are??? What is that about paperwork?...this needs clarification. Doubt anyone from this paper will respond or clarify this. Only Ian and April seem to respond to comments. Guess most reporters don't care.

The fundraiser is all day during Dakota Street Pizza business hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. One piece of paperwork is required per order, not per person if more than one person exists per order. Dakota does not have the paperwork.
The paperwork is a flyer that guests must bring to Dakota Street Pizza to let it know what nonprofit organization to give 50 percent of the proceeds to. Guests need only one flyer per order/bill, no matter how many people are served per order.
Proceeds will fund the Sutherlin Downtown Development Inc. projects of the Hometown Heroes event, Music Off Central and downtown beautification.

Mogie

Thank you for the clarification.

Mogie

Could we get a little more details regarding this paperwork? Does each person who goes to the pizza place need to pick up some type of paperwork. This article is confusing. Exactly what are they going to use the money raised for? What are the hours this business is open?
