Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards plans to celebrate a recent award with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Roseburg Country Club, 5051 Garden Valley Road, Roseburg.

Its 2014 Grüner Veltliner was named "Best of the Best" in the 2017 Wine Press Northwest Platinum Judging in Kennewick, Washington.

The Grüner Veltliner also won a double platinum medal and topped 660 gold medal winning wines from the Pacific Northwest, including British Columbia, to win "Best of the Best." The Roseburg-based winery won a total of four double platinum medals, five platinum medals, five double gold medals and two gold medals during the three-day competition.

Community members can purchase a $40 ticket for the reception with tapas and wine pairings with the award-winning wines.
