Foam rolling is a form of self-myofascial release, which is a fancy term for self-massage. Benefits of foam rolling include: improved joint range of motion & flexibility, improved circulation, reduced muscle tightness & soreness, and helps reduce the risk of injuries. Participants need to be able to transfer down and up from the floor with relative ease and should be able to sit comfortably on the floor. Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for a movement class. Participants need to bring a round, 36-inch long foam roller & yoga mat. Fee: $1.00 per class / drop-in basis.
