Join us in Fir Grove Park to witness a spectacular display of Vaux’s Swifts as they gather to roost in the nearby chimney.  Come learn about this local wildlife wonder!

Friday evenings, August 23 & 30, and September 6 &13, beginning an hour before sunset. Sunset is approximately 8:00 pm in mid-August and by mid-September it will be 7:30, so the event will start around 7:00 the first two Fridays and at about 6:30 the last two Fridays.

Free and open to the public.  Volunteers from Umpqua Valley Audubon Society will be present with information about the Swifts.  This event can be easily viewed with or without binoculars!  Free art activities will be led by local artists for kids ages 5 & up (kids must be supervised by an adult).
