FOREST WORKERS
WORK SITE(S): Provided daily transport to/from worksite; begin in Roseburg, Douglas County, OR 97471 @
$20.85/hr. Continue into county(ies) of Benewah County, Clearwater County, Latah County, Shoshone County, ID,
Coos County, OR, Douglas County, OR, Northwestern Idaho nonmetro area, Coast Oregon nonmetro area. 12/7/199/7/20.
POSSIBLE DUTIES: Maintain/develop woodlands: hand-plant seedlings/trees. Dig holes, plant seedling,
secure seedling by packing soil, maintain seedling growth. Reduce competing vegetation: spray/inject herbicides
& trim trees or other vegetation via clearing/disposing of brush, piling, & pruning & other related Forestry Worker
activities per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org).
Must be 18 due to travel. Must show proof of legal authority to work in U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone.
Must walk substantially up to 15 miles/day, stoop, bend while carrying a pack (up to 60lbs) thru rough terrain
(non-trail). No min. edu. requirement. OJT. Must be able to plant 800 trees per day. All applicants must be willing,
qualified, to perform work described & avail. for entire period specified. $15.06/hr up to poss $20.85/hr OT
$22.59/hr up to poss $31.28/hr, Wage may vary. Based on Experience &/or location. H&W benefits may apply. Cash
advance may apply @ employer discretion. Poss daily/wkly hrs: 7A-3:30P. 40+ to include lunch break M-F. Poss
wknd/holiday work. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long
hrs, occasionally in extreme heat/cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hrs may fluctuate (+/-), poss downtime
&/or OT. OT avail, not reqd. Employer will comply w/all applicable fed, state & local laws pertaining to OT hrs.
TRANSPORTATION: Will provide/pay cost of worker return transport, subsistence from worksite to place
from which worker departed to work for employer if work completes period of employment or dismissed from
employment before end of work period above. Transportation & subsistence will be reimbursed by check in 1st
work week for cost from place from which worker has come to work for employer, whether in U.S. or abroad, to
place of employment. Guaranteed offered work hrs @ least 3/4s of workdays each 12/wk period of total
employment period. Use/maintain of employer provided tools/equip./supplies @ no cost/deposit. Optional
housing avail. @ no cost.
