Motherhood. That is a crazy word. Scary, lovely, intimidating, joyful and courageous all wrapped up together.

This is the heart behind the MOPS group in Roseburg. MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” and is a “come as you are” group for moms with young kids.

At MOPS, moms will have the opportunity to mingle over breakfast and connect with other moms, as well as Mentor Moms and soak in some encouragement for this crazy motherhood journey.

A loving and structured child care is provided for this time so that moms can finish a conversation and a hot cup of coffee.

Meetings start Sept. 12 at Roseburg Alliance Church, 2165 Garden Valley Road, and will meet every other Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. through the school year.

The cost is $31.95 for the entire year membership (there are limited scholarships available as well).

To register, visit www.mops.org/join and enter the code Wi74.
