A Roseburg man was arrested Friday after allegedly driving drunk and forcing another driver off the road and into a tree.

Joe Bradley Rifenbark, 33, was leaving the parking lot of Scoreboard Sports Bar at approximately 5 p.m. when he nearly crashed into a car driving south in the 900 block of Southeast Pine Street, forcing the car to drive off the road and into a tree.

The driver of that car wasn't injured, police said, but the car was significantly damaged and towed by Roseburg Towing.

Rifenbark was arrested after displaying signs of impairment and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.
