Several Roseburg men were charged with disorderly conduct Saturday after driving around and throwing water balloons at pedestrians from the bed of a truck.

County dispatchers received several reports of a silver 2005 Toyota Tacoma with a group of men in the back throwing the balloons at people around 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of Southeast Washington Avenue and Southeast Stephens Street.

Two pedestrians, a 42-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, told police they were both struck with multiple water balloons.

All of the males in the truck — 24-year-old Daniel Thomas Murphy, 26-year-old Donald Brock Sestrom, 29-year-old Kevin Aaron Welch, 22-year-old Justin Wade Smith, 18-year-old Isaac David Welnetz, 24-year-old Anthony Thomas Brinsfield and 32-year-old Jarod Mark Leon Clark — were cited and released for second-degree disorderly conduct.
