A Roseburg man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after threatening to hit his father with a metal stapler and shoving him into a filing cabinet, police said.

Brett Dakota Baglien, 19, also interfered with his father's attempt to call 911 by grabbing his phone, according to police.

When his 60-year-old father got his phone back, Baglien shoved him into a filing cabinet.

Baglien was charged with menacing, harassment and interfering with making a police report.
