A Roseburg woman was arrested early Tuesday morning after she unlawfully entered a car that did not belong to her and started the vehicle using a pair of scissors, according to police.

Police were contacted by someone who saw a woman breaking into a 1997 Honda Accord in the 800 block of West Princeton Avenue, Roseburg.

The woman then drove the vehicle toward the street but stopped and parked the vehicle after seeing police in the area.

Police then contact the woman, identified as 20-year-old Mandy Ranae Wimberly, of Roseburg, and discovered she had used a pair of scissors to start the vehicle, which damaged the ignition. After being arrested, police found the woman to be in possession of a set of brass knuckles.

Wimberly was arrested on suspicion of second-degree criminal mischief, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, and carrying a concealed weapon.
