A Roseburg man was arrested Monday for allegedly buying alcohol for two 13-year-olds.

The two teens — a male and a female — snuck out of their homes early Monday morning and met up with Joshua Lee Godel, 22, who they did not previously know, according to police.

Godel gave the female some alcohol and talked her and the other teen into going to his house. Along the way, Godel purchased more alcohol, according to police.

While they were together, the girl got extremely drunk and was later found passed out in some bushes along Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, according to police.

She was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center, cited and released to her parents. The male teen was also released to his parents.

Godel was arrested on suspicion of furnishing alcohol to a minor and reckless endangering.
