Canyonville Christian Academy will hold graduation ceremonies at 10 a.m. May 28 in the school’s Robert Shaffer Gymnasium, 250 E. First St., Canyonville. Headmaster Cathy Lovato is the speaker. Baccalaureate will be held at 11 a.m. in the Canyon Chapel on campus.

Shan Yu (Grace) Tuan is the valedictorian. She is the daughter of Chih-Hsien Tuan and Pei-Chuan Wu of Taiwan. Her activites and honors include four years of tennis, four years of basketball, Principal’s List, and National Honor Society. Tuan plans on attending University of California, San Diego.

Sebastian Fajardo is the salutatorian. He is the son of Ruben Fajardo and Marlene Chogo. His activities and honors include four years of basketball, and a 2016 state track qualifier in the 4x400 relay. Fajardo plans on attending Ohio-Cedarville college where he will major in mechanical engineering.
