Glendale High School will hold its graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday, June 3, at the Glendale High School gymnasium, 10598 Azalea Glen Road. Speakers are English teacher Sue Burnett and athletic director John Stott.
Jaymi Davis is valedictorian. She is the daughter of Jan and Bill Davis of Azalea. Her activities and honors include drama, blood drive volunteer, honor roll, perfect attendance and having completed high school in three years.
She plans to attend Umpqua Community College to major in medical science and eventually move on to pediatric medicine.
Ashlan Parsley is salutatorian. She is the daughter of Cristina Risa and Kim Parsley of Azalea. She made honor roll, completed high school in three years and went to state during her freshman and sophomore years in track and field. She plans to attend Lane Community College for prerequisites before getting a pilot’s license, airplane mechanics license and a creative writing degree. She would like to attend the University of Alaska SE.
