About 31 fourth- and fifth-grade music students from Fir Grove Elementary School sang a selection of Christmas music to residents of Linus Oakes Retirement Village in Roseburg on Wednesday.

Under the direction of music teacher Harmony Klingenmeyer, students performed for residents before distributing Christmas cards and enjoying refreshments afterward.

Each of the performers belong to a voluntary after-school music program organized by Klingenmeyer.
