Cedric Hayden and Christy Inskip, candidates for state House District 7, which includes North Douglas County, will attend the League of Women Voters of Umpqua Valley candidate forum on Tuesday.

Hayden, the Republican incumbent, confirmed Wednesday evening he will attend. That clears the way for Inskip, the Democratic challenger, to attend also. The League will not seat one candidate in a two-person race if the other declines to attend, a rule that became an issue in the Senate District 1 race between Dallas Heard and Shannon Souza after Heard said he could not attend the forum.

House District 2 candidates Gary Leif, R-Roseburg, and Democratic challenger Megan Salter will also attend Tuesday's forum.
