The Douglas County Board of Commissioners will continue town hall meetings around the county this month to discuss the state of the county's budget.

The commissioners will present information and take questions about county funding, tax revenues, and the county's reserves.

Upcoming meetings will be tonight at Winston City Hall, 201 NW Douglas Blvd.; Dec. 12 at Drain Civic Center, 205 West A Ave.; Dec. 18 at Glendale High School Gymnasium, 10598 Azalea Glen Road; Dec. 19 at Oakland City Hall, 637 Locust St.; Dec. 21 at Myrtle Creek Community Center, 425 SW 2nd Ave.; and Dec. 28 at Elkton City Hall, 366 1st St. A Reedsport Town Hall originally scheduled for Dec. 14 has been rescheduled for Jan. 4. It will be in Reedsport City Council Chambers, 451 Winchester Ave.

All of the town halls begin at 5:30 p.m.

Meetings have already been held in Roseburg, Canyonville, Sutherlin, Riddle and Yoncalla.
