ROSEBURG — The Oregon Legislature’s Joint Ways and Means Committee scheduled a series of public hearings on the state budget and Douglas County is one of their stops as they meet with citizens from around the state.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to testify at each of these events.
From 5-7 p.m. April 21 the committee will be at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg.
Kyle Bailey is the news director for News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN.
I like that Roseburg is being included. We were one of the first places Gov. Kotek visited after taking office and now the legislature is including us. I like this because I don't feel much like traveling to Salem these days. I used to do that, but not so much any more. I like seeing them come to us and other places away from the state capitol.
