One of Douglas County’s larger employers has become Blue Zones Project approved.

First Call Resolution was approved last week for integrating more well-being, best practices to make healthy choices easier for their employees.

Blue Zones Project-Umpqua is partnering with FCR to make the healthier choices easier in the setting where people spend most of their time.

The Blue Zones Project is brought to Oregon through leadership funding by Cambia Health Foundation to support Oregon Healthiest State, in collaboration with Sharecare and BlueZones, LLC.

Blue Zones Project is a community-by-community initiative designed to enable community members to live longer, happier lives with lower rates of chronic diseases and a higher quality of life.

For more about Blue Zones Project, look for Blue Zones Project-Umpqua on social media, or email bluezonesprojectumpqua@sharecare.com or visit their website at www.bluezonesproject.com.

Juliete Palenshus is the Engagement Lead for Blue Zones Umpqua.
