The railroad crossing on Main Street in Riddle between East Fifth and East Sixth streets will be closed to all traffic from Sept. 10 to 14, while repairs are underway.

The Douglas County Public Works Department and the Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad will repair and rebuild the current railroad crossing with concrete railroad panels.

The work will be performed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day, depending on weather and the availability of materials.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured at several Riddle locations. Warning signs will notify drivers of the closure.
