The YMCA of Douglas County will host a free coat-give-away event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday where children and adults of all ages in need of a coat are welcome to come to the YMCA and get one.

Local residents are invited to come and visit with Santa while sharing in a free pancake breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. and then picking out a free coat for the winter.

The YMCA of Douglas County is located on 1151 NW Stewart Parkway, Roseburg.

My profession isn't based on my spelling. When I did have a job that involved communicating with the public I tried to proof read my own stuff and was always appreciative of someone who would point out an error. I would rather correct something before it goes into print so I don't look like I don't care.
