Douglas County sheriff

4:12 a.m. — Unattended death reported in the 3000 block of Umpqua Highway 99, Drain.

7:30 a.m. — Water line ruptured and the field is underwater in the 100 block of Wilbur Road, Roseburg.

8:27 a.m. — Someone stole the caller’s clothes from the laundromat in the 100 block of East First Street, Riddle.

10:01 a.m. — Man wearing blue underwear and white socks is screaming that someone is trying to kill him in the 300 block of Main Street, Riddle.

10:45 a.m. — Man is sitting in his truck with a Budweiser in the cup holder in the 700 block of Salmon Harbor Drive, Winchester Bay.

12:29 p.m. — Caller is in California but just received a text that his landlord threw his stuff away and changed the locks in the 200 block of South Main Street, Drain.

2:36 p.m. — Brother is angry, took his shirt off and is threatening to beat up the caller in the 400 block of Elmar Drive, Roseburg. The caller said his brother has a gun in his car.

3:04 p.m. — Eighteen-year-old is assaulting her mother and grandfather in the 100 block of Feather Lane, Oakland.

6:33 p.m. — Caller saw a man on the trail who was carrying a rifle. After the caller backed away, he heard gunshots in the 67000 block of North Umpqua Highway, Diamond Lake.

7:26 p.m. — Caller wants police to check on a 9-year-old boy who is with his stepfather, who has threatened to sexually assault the boy in the past, in Drain.


9:43 a.m. — Two pickup trucks crashed into each other and are locked together on Interstate 5 near milepost 106, Myrtle Creek.

10:36 a.m. — Vehicle blew a tire and hit the wall on Interstate 5 near milepost 134, Sutherlin.

2:28 p.m. — SUV pulling a fifth-wheel flipped on Interstate 5 near milepost 168, Curtin.


The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.


Douglas County sheriff

Randolph Edward Aguilar, 68, of North Highlands, on suspicion of failing to appear on a criminal citation, methamphetamine possession and methamphetamine delivery.

Shera Dionne George, 38, of Riddle, on suspicion of second-degree theft, failing to appear on a criminal citation, a probation violation and third-degree theft.

Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team

Brandi Rose Baker, 26, of Roseburg, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, heroin possession, controlled substance possession and a parole violation.
