Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

1:14 p.m. — Caller said she was still getting harassed and went on a rant with very colorful language in the 400 block of South Main Street, Canyonville.

1:19 p.m. — Caller’s roommate told him not to come home and the caller wants a deputy to watch him get into bed and keep the situation civil in the 8100 block of Nonpareil Road, Sutherlin.

4:07 p.m. — Caller’s daughter took a semi-nude photo and other kids are threatening to post it in Roseburg.

4:32 p.m. — A man was beating up a woman and then another man and woman got involved, now two men are fighting in the 300 block of Main Street, Riddle.

4:44 p.m. — Caller is upset that a man is smoking a cigarette near dry grass in the 1000 block of Tenmile Valley Road, Tenmile.

6:04 p.m. — Rape reported in Roseburg.

6:31 p.m. — A baby bobcat or cougar is sitting in the caller’s yard with gray and black stripes that look like the pictures the caller found on his Ipad in the 300 block of Club Avenue, Roseburg.

8:12 p.m. — Unattended death in Canyonville.

9:31 p.m. — Attempt to elude near milepost 162 on Interstate 5, Yoncalla.

9:34 p.m. — There has been a lot of extra traffic in the area in the 600 block of Clone Avenue, Yoncalla.

ACCIDENTS

11:33 a.m. — ATV accident in the 3400 block of Salmon Harbor Drive, Winchester Bay.

11:30 p.m. — Possible motorcycle crash, caller heard the engine revving then heard a grating sound in the 22000 block of Tiller Trail Highway, Days Creek.

ARRESTS

Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

Dennis Ray Fain, 52, of Roseburg, on suspicion of driving while suspended and first-degree failure to appear.

Nathan Richard Leitz, 38, of Roseburg, on suspicion of attempting to elude a police officer by vehicle, attempting to elude a police officer on foot, reckless driving, three counts of second-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass, a hit-and-run, interfering with making a police report, improper use of 911, initiating a false report, third-degree assault, four counts of recklessly endangering another person, being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon, methamphetamine possession and heroin possession.

Myrtle Creek police

Gift Shirling Scott, 19, of Canyonville, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, providing false information to a police officer, failing to present an operators license, two counts of mail theft and resisting arrest.

Roseburg police

Janice Marie Rose, 39, of Vancouver, on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespass, failing to appear on a criminal citation and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Kyle Shane Sargent, 33, of Glide, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault and two counts of contempt of court.
