7:33 a.m. — Sex crimes in Yoncalla.

10:11 a.m. — Someone talked the caller into buying fool’s gold in the 100 block of Chief Miwaleta Lane, Canyonville.

1:19 p.m. — Caller’s tenants threatened to burn the house down if they didn’t get their security deposit back in the 300 block of Conrad Street, Myrtle Creek.

7:57 p.m. — Someone put a hit out on the caller in the 600 block of Williams Road, Yoncalla.

8:00 p.m. — Unattended death in Roseburg.

9:07 p.m. — Unattended death in Yoncalla.

10:53 p.m. — A drunk woman who was cut off by bartenders left the casino parking lot headed toward Burger King in the 100 block of Chief Miwaleta Lane, Canyonville.


The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.


Douglas County sheriff

Jeremy Dale Grimes, 37, of Canyonville, on suspicion of two counts of menacing, two counts of unlawful weapon use and two counts of pointing a firearm at another.

Chanze J Hudson, 27, no address provided, on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespass and methamphetamine possession.

Roseburg police

Brian Ray Delsie, 37, Roseburg, second-degree criminal mischief, offensive littering and failure to appear on a criminal citation.

Steven Samuel Smeth, 71, of Roseburg, on suspicion of unlawful weapon use and recklessly endangering another person.
