Thursday

Douglas County sheriff

1:30 a.m. — Five males are fighting near the apartments at the intersection of Date Street and Harlan Avenue, Drain.

2:57 a.m. — Man is screaming and threatening a female in the 300 block of Gentry Loop, Myrtle Creek.

3:38 a.m. — A driver, who is possibly intoxicated, just crashed into a building in the 100 block of North Main Street, Canyonville.

8:37 a.m. — Caller is house-sitting for friends and the home’s back door has been kicked in in Canyonville.

9:54 a.m. — Caller found a key and bottles of alcohol in his yard in the 500 block of Harlan Avenue, Drain. The man said he’s concerned people are partying in his yard.

12:43 p.m. — Caller is following her 12-year-old daughter, who the caller said has an attitude and won’t get in the car, in the 100 block of South Pine Street, Canyonville.

1:11 p.m. — Taxi driver stopped the caller from falling for a scam, but the caller thinks she may have fallen for another scam last week in Roseburg.

3:14 a.m. — Caller’s son was assaulted by three men in the 100 block of South Old Pacific Highway, Myrtle Creek.

3:49 p.m. — Two men in a black Ford Mustang and doing doughnuts in the parking lot in the 5500 block of Northeast Stephens Street, Winchester.

9:33 p.m. — Caller heard a single gunshot and saw a flash come from inside a house in the 10000 block of Azalea-Glen Road, Glendale.

ACCIDENTS

12:24 p.m. — Just before the exit a vehicle spun out near milepost 119 on Interstate 5, Roseburg.

4:01 p.m. — Dodge pickup truck drove into a ditch near milepost 108 on Interstate 5, Myrtle Creek.

4:42 p.m. — Two-vehicle accident reported near the intersection of Melrose Road and Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, Roseburg.

FIRES

5:40 a.m. — Neighbors started a large burn pile and things are blowing up in it in the 500 block of Page Road, Roseburg.

ARRESTS

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Thursday

Douglas County sheriff

Tina Louise Carver, 51, of Riddle, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, methamphetamine delivery, tampering with physical evidence and a parole violation.

Michael Robert Jones, 30, of Myrtle Creek, on suspicion of third-degree escape, resisting arrest, interfering with a police officer and a probation violation.

David Allen Laird, 59, of Cave Junction, on suspicion of first-degree sex abuse, two counts of third-degree sodomy, and two counts of third-degree sex abuse.

Anthony Charles Wilkins, 25, of Reedsport, on suspicion of four counts of identity theft, two counts of mail theft, third-degree theft and a parole violation.

Roseburg police

Shane Christopher Montgomery, 37, of Roseburg, on suspicion of third-degree robbery, third-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass.
