6:03 a.m. — A man looks like he’s trying to hide behind a bush in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue, Roseburg.

11:06 a.m. — At night, people come into the park and snoop around in the 1500 block of Stanton Park Road, Canyonville.

1:06 p.m. — A large amount of garbage, mail and pills were dumped out at the intersection of Weigle Road and Dole Road, Myrtle Creek.

1:23 p.m. — An injured deer has possibly broken its back and is trying to wander away in the 500 block of Sinclair Lane, Roseburg.

2:39 p.m. — Caller wants a check on a car that’s been sitting for a week with a note on the windshield that says “this car is not abandoned” in the 19000 block of Tiller Trail Highway, Days Creek.

6:28 p.m. — Caller says she no longer wants her cat which has a wheeze and has someone putting cologne on it in the 300 block of Outback Lane, Glendale.

8:18 p.m. — Caller’s mother had her Facebook hacked and child pornography posted on her page in Myrtle Creek.

11:19 p.m. — Someone started riding the elderly caller’s lawnmower in his carport in the 700 block of Lou Gray Drive, Canyonville.


2:54 p.m. — RV on fire near milepost 90 on Interstate 5, Canyonville.


The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Mark Thomas Hellenthal, 41, of Roseburg, on suspicion of attempting to elude a police officer by car, driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended and reckless driving.

Jo Ann Logston, 66, of Roseburg, on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.

Ryan Matthew Wenning, 39, of Portland, on suspicion of cocaine possession, methamphetamine possession and violating a restraining order.

Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team

Crystal Rosa Martines, 27, of Roseburg, on suspicion of heroin possession.

Roseburg police

Michael Paul Ballach, 34, of Roseburg, on suspicion of first-degree theft and third-degree theft.

Terah Mae Brock, 32, of Roseburg, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession and first-degree failure to appear.
