Douglas County sheriff

5:34 a.m. — Caller is being conned by a female and wants to talk to a male about it in the 500 block of Heather Lane, Roseburg.

10:52 a.m. — Someone tried to break into the caller’s house through the back door in the 100 block of Gilham Loops, Myrtle Creek.

11:26 p.m. — A syringe is laying in the road where people walk near the intersection of Rolling Hills Road and Lone Oak Court, Roseburg.

12:36 p.m. — Caller heard that a squatter may be living in her deceased mother’s house in Yoncalla.

1:34 p.m. — Caller found someone’s personal belongings scattered near a fence in the 100 block of Wecks Road, Myrtle Creek.

3:10 p.m. — Someone was messing around with the caller’s front door last night in the 100 block of Quincetree Court, Roseburg.

3:51 p.m. — Someone is blackmailing the caller on Facebook in Myrtle Creek.

4:46 p.m. — Caller heard a huge explosion to the west of Roseburg’s transfer site in the 300 block of McLain West Avenue, Roseburg.


9:20 p.m. — Two-vehicle accident reported on Interstate 5 southbound near milepost 113, Myrtle Creek.

Douglas County sheriff

Justin Connell Stevens, 27, of Roseburg, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, felony probation violation and providing false information to a police officer.

Roseburg police

Matthew Ewing Kelm, 38, of Roseburg, on suspicion of driving while suspended or revoked, third-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree theft.

Sutherlin police

Jason Gutierrez, 34, no address provided, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary, third-degree robbery and second-degree criminal trespass.
