Douglas County sheriff

1:15 a.m. — Group of men were harassing the caller, including one who was wearing a trench coat near Oakland.

8:47 a.m. — An employee is pulling the caller’s braids and calling her ugly in the 300 block of Pacific Avenue, Glendale.

2:06 p.m. — Caller heard what sounded like a gunshot coming from the back of the school in the 2200 block of Cannon Avenue, Roseburg.

3:47 p.m. — Caller thinks his 5-month-old son developed croup from mold in his house and wants to know what he can do in the 400 block of Bear Creek Road, Curtin.

4:54 p.m. — A resident just pushed the caller’s 5-year-old son in the 400 block of Birch Street, Yoncalla.

9:37 p.m. — Caller’s wife, who has a restraining order against the caller, just texted asking for help in the 5100 block of Strickland Canyon Road, Tenmile.


11:10 a.m. — Single-vehicle accident reported near the intersection of Roberts Creek Road and Glengary Loop Road, Roseburg.

5:24 p.m. — Vehicle went off the roadway near the intersection of Garden Valley Road and Palomino Avenue, Roseburg.


The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.


Douglas County sheriff

Jessica Marie Wimberly, 38, of Winston, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault, attempting to elude police on foot, and interfering with a police officer.

Sutherlin police

Richard Russell Lambert, 58, of Milwaukie, on suspicion of first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft.
