Douglas County sheriff

3:28 a.m. — A 40-foot-tall oak tree is blocking the northbound lane in the 2900 block of Flournoy Valley Road, Roseburg.

5:22 a.m. — Caller shot a bear in his yard, it rolled then got back up and headed toward the creek in the 5000 block of Buckhorn Road, Roseburg.

10:36 a.m. — Possible theft of parrots in the 4900 block of Cole Road, Oakland.

1:44 p.m. — A large van has a flat tire and no jack near milepost 74 on Hgihway 138 East, Diamond Lake.

2:11 p.m. — Caller has the neighbor’s cat trapped under his house and wants it picked up in the 4300 block of Depriest Street, Roseburg.

2:21 p.m. — Sex crimes reported in Gardiner.

6:00 p.m. — A man dropped off his child at a Christmas program drunk in the 500 block of Chadwick Lane, Myrtle Creek.

6:08 p.m. — Caller was assaulted in her home after someone broke the window, stuck their hand through and sprayed mace in the 600 block of Coos Bay Wagon Road, Roseburg.

7:25 p.m. — Caller’s 13-year-old daughter was approached by a man that was forceful about wanting her to get in his van in the 500 block of Chadwick Lane, Myrtle Creek.

8:02 p.m. — People are calling the caller a tweaker online in the 100 block of Hurd Street, Glide.

10:30 p.m. — A tree is blocking the road in the 12000 block of Garden Valley Road, Umpqua.


2:14 a.m. — Single vehicle accident near milepost 28 on Highway 38, Elkton.

3:21 p.m. — A car is rolled over with a man and dog trapped inside near milepost 20 on Highway 138, Diamond Lake.


1:24 a.m. — A house is on fire in the 300 block of Reuben Road, Glendale.

Brandon Kirk Burger, 27, of Winston, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, failure to appear and a probation violation.

William Clayton Gallagher, 31, of Myrtle Creek, on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and tampering with physical evidence.

John Michael Lander, 22, of Winston, on suspicion of unauthorized motor vehicle use, stolen vehicle possession and parole violation.

Sarah Rebecca Jo Moon, 26, of Roseburg, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, second-degree theft and two counts of first-degree failure to appear.

Patrick Lee Thorp, 51, of Yoncalla, on suspicion of menacing, reckless driving and pointing a firearm at another.

Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team

Victor Adair Haines, 37, no address provided, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, methamphetamine delivery and a probation violation.

Roseburg police

Patty Lou Bever, 27, of Roseburg, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, first-degree failure to appear and a probation violation.

Christina Mae Pilson, 34, of Roseburg, on suspicion of first-degree forgery, second-degree theft, two counts of computer crime, fraudulent credit card use and of suing another’s operator’s license.

Jessica Rae Thompson, 29, of Roseburg, on suspicion of three counts of third-degree theft, driving while suspended and second-degree criminal trespass.

Laura Leeann Watson, 39, of Roseburg, on suspicion of hydrocodone possession, third-degree theft and contempt of court.
